2. Special Issue Information
Computational mechanics describes the broad discipline of developing computational methods for the modelling of mechanical systems. Beyond classical finite element, boundary element and collocation methods, it covers the needs of optimal design and control of modern, Multiphysics structures and devices, the integration of experimental measurements into the model, model updating and support for predictive maintenance and many other emerging fields. The focus of this special issue is to host innovative articles in all emerging disciplines and give motivation for further research and development efforts in industry and academia.
2.1 Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at https://jieas.net/submit-your-paper/ or by sending email to the Guest Editor. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors for manuscripts submission is available on the Author’s Guideline page. No Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal. Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English.
